Regelvorteil Bauhaus?

Beitrag von Kaio »

Hallo Leute,

Bauhaus Duke Richthausen

Ground: 4x Ducal Miliz + Sergant 83 Pkt
4x Ducal Miliz + Sergant 83 Pkt
4x Ducal Miliz + Sergant 83 Pkt

Elite: 4x Vulkan + Sergant 199 Pkt

Support: 4x Viktor + Specialist 297 Pkt

Grunt:
4 Miliz + Sergeant = 83
4 Miliz + Sergeant = 83

Elite:
3 Vulcans + Sergeant = 121
2 Vulcans + Sergeant = 160

Support
4 Victors + RP = 297

So das sieht doch gut aus oder ???? :vielangst:

Es wird aber immer Powercombos geben. Das mit den
Victors bzw. Vulcans als Support ist ungeschickt, aber
unser Bauhausspieler braucht den Supportslot immer
für was anderes Etoiles z.b.

I don't like "V" units… they are overpowered in my humble opinion. Someone lowered they price for about 10pts. or even more.

But there is one force that possibly could win with your propositions. Algeroth with Horde.

Few Nepharites (especially Valpurgius) with Apocalypse could drop so many templates with radiant damage that they cover half of table ;) Necrovisual Symbiosis can help extend Apocalypse range.

This still might require little lowered visibility on battleground because of Vulkan's range…

When playing in very limited visibility (like night or high level hostile environment), Vulkans/Victors are not so powerful, and some Mounted Hussars could crush them easily.

Personally I wouldn't compose army only with Militia and "V" - if you play only in game like "total extermination of opponent" they are good, but when you need to acquire few targets on battlefield, and hold them - you need something more.

(Does everyone in Germany play Bauhaus Corporation? Seems to be most popular discussed army...)

Gute Idee Marc_US.

Armeen in HH:
1* Imperial (spielt selten)
2* Capitol
2* Mishima
3* Bauhaus
1* Cybedrtronic
3* DL
2* Brotherhood

Interesting compositions...

Beitrag von Marc_us »

Generally in Poland only Mishima and Brotherhood are not popular (probably no one plays Tribes and Cartel). Think that this is because of their "power" (or maybe "lack of power") in 2nd edition (if you constantly lose, you may become discouraged to such army).
Most popular - Capitol, Imperial and Dark Legion.

If you like armies that require lots of thinking, and are not easy - you should play Imperial ;)

In UWZ there are no overpowered units in Imperial like in 2nd ed.. Hurricane Walker is no longer so hard, there are no elite troops that seems to be "one and only right choice" to conquer enemy. In 2nd ed. Blood Berets were real good squad - cheap, skilled, good armoured - think that only Assault Marines were better. Golden Lions was probably best Infiltrating squad. Right now you couldn't specify what is really required to your army, and only tactics or personal favour determines what should it be.

You can try to make some "template army" with lots of Barracudas and RL specialists (I've tried to make something like this in last tournament - I had 4 barracuda on 1200pts army but I wasn't even in middle of result table - expensive and not too good in tunnels where I had one battle), "sniper army" with lots of snipers and good RC units (risky, and expensive because there are no squads designed to RC only… also not wise idea if its possible there going to be low visibility), "charger army" :lol: it won one tournament - many specialist with Charger HMG, and few with FT - when they reach PB range they are just deadly.
No golden rule - every composition could be deadly, and every could be beaten by opponent.

Last time we were discussing Vermin Tactic on polish forum. This is 1200pts army because that's required army size on Warsaw Tournaments. Also it is important that to win battle there (in Warsaw), you don't have to eliminate enemy force, but acquire targets on table - you need to be in base contact with such target and spend one action to take control of it. If until end of battle (limited by time) enemy wont take it back in same way - its yours. 5 targets on table, one who acquired more is the winner if there is tie (2-2)... then its tie.
  • Vermin - delivery system for Black Berets - little less useful in low visibility, in tunnels it could be impossible to play with it;
  • Black Berets (5+Sgt+2xFT) - thanks to SMG and FT they are great in close range - good when Vermin delivers them closer to enemy because they are slow (MV3);
  • Stormtrenchers (5+Sgt.+2*HMG) - they will probably land close to Black Berets when they exit vehicle, and support them;
  • Trenchers (6+Sgt.+Sniper) [with Squad Comm Link] - they will stand on their position and support troops from distance - someone need to shot while others get closer to enemy. If there going to be imitated visibility they are also not so bad in CC;
  • Regulars (6+Sgt.+RL with AP ammo) - same as Trenchers, have RL with template to better support from distance, high MV rate will be useful in low visibility (taking targets, CC with pistols);
  • Imperial Colonel [Command Helmet] - high LD, almost sniper ;) and everyone in command distance have Tactical Sense - universal commander, and my favorite Individual model;
  • Iron Mastiffs (Handler+2) - fast squad to take targets... and bullet shield, that gives you support unit. In low visibility they become great CC squad..
  • Iron Mastiffs (Handler+2);
  • Barracuda (1 with AP ammo) - fast moving RL, thanks to Tactical Sense it can switch targets. In low visibility its almost useless.
1199pts.

Its not something great - but when played right, could be good. Little risky - Vermin could be destroyed until deploy squad (he is fast so he will be in front of troops - that means he is priority target for enemy), Stormtrenchers are para-deployed so landing to close to enemy, or in open ground can be deadly for them.

I greet.
I like battlesuit Vulkans. It is not fault of players ,that Americans do not know mathematicses and balancing-pole of game . As to price this should be dearer here I will agree. :evil:

Respect, boyzzz ;)

Hello Marc_us ;) I know :P but our friends from Germany may not know that... I also think, that they are too cheap...

Well, i like to play against a well rounded force so i usualy dont objekt when my oponent take a unit of them into his army (I dont mind to fill mine up with Orkas and Ass Marine Rocketlaunchers than aswell :) )

If he wants to bring more Squads of them, he may encounter a lack of opponents^^, as i like to enjoy a nice game where i see a various number of different units on the field, not a Force wich is only build to win.
i usualy play scenarios wich tell a story and a PG force would just ruin that :-).

we play with the restriction of only one Squad of a Unittype (i.e. one squad of Vulcans or one squad of Freemarines per army).

but Ruther say not that he will not try to win, but all we will use fair and stylish "round" army for his try. And so most of oure games are very intersting and the Result is not determind by armyforce or strukture.

in my capitol army i always field assault marines, i like to use them to absorb fire cause they are good at it.

No real problems with vulcans, my regular opponent who fields haus uses a variety of units. If used in the right way mounted hussars can kick your butt right away. And a well dropped unit of blitzers can save the day.
(or lay out a field of around 10 Mines justr before the objective :sauer: )

The discussed V army is lame and very boring indeed.

@ Green_Knight
